We were contacted by a woman who is trying to find a home for her 25 year-old mare. They are unable to keep her anymore and we desperately want to find a home for Jolene.
Jolene is barefoot and she’s currently eating alfalfa/orchard. She has some arthritis in her hips and the vet recommended that she not be ridden.
According to the owner, Jolene is very easy to handle, and would be fine being worked with by a beginner. She loves people and enjoys being brushed.
We are seeking assistance from individuals who have the ability to locate and/or provide a suitable and comfortable place for this girl to live.
