A few months ago, we posted about Cody, a Missouri Foxtrotter who needed a new home. He had bucked off his owner, and she felt that he was no longer safe for her to ride. Cody found a wonderful new home with a woman named Stephanie, who had adopted one of our horses, Montana, a few years ago. Cody has fit in very well with her family, and sent us this update:
He is a hilarious character and fits right in with our barn. He is super curious and well behaved. I ponied him all over before riding him. We have gone on trail solo and with other horses. He is not spooky!! The chiropractor found mild thickness just behind his withers and thought it could have been from an ill fitted saddle. He needed an adjustment but didn’t see any reason for bucking other than a possible saddle problem. His feet are great. He has absolutely no muscle so we are working slowly and trying to build up. Feel lucky that I called on him so quickly!! I think he is very happy here!!
