The Grey Mares are Safe! It was pouring rain when we drove up to the stable early Friday-after-Thanksgivingmorning. We met Kathy, the woman who told us the two mares were destined for slaughter because their owner had stopped coming out or paying for them.  She led us to the two mares who were standing in a paddock, in inches of mud and muck. Orange County, CA: 2 Arabian Mares Need Home ASAP!

Please crosspost! I received a call Wednesday night from someone who has been taking care of two Arabian mares for the past several months (mucking out the stall, getting their feet done, brushing them, etc. She has not been paying board and has NO contact with the owner). The owner has not come to see the horses in several months, and the board is in arrears.
