Some of you may remember Lexie, the 14 y/o Quarter horse mare who we rescued in December: http://www.hanaeleh.org/orange-county-ca-qh-mare-needs-home-asap/ Her new owner was hoping to use Lexie in her lesson program, but her vet does not think that Lexie would be able to stay sound enough. Cricket has a new home!
Today we took Cricket to her new home! Her new horsie mom is our volunteer coordinator Kaitlin, who fell in love with Cricket the minute she saw her cute little face (quite literally- she said she fell in love the minute she saw Cricket without her fly mask!).
