UPDATE: Tamara has a new home!

We received word from Tamara's owner (the 19 y/o Arabian who needed a home) that they found someone who was able to take her!  She will be going to live with a woman in Norco named Pam, who will be trailering Tamara to her new home tomorrow. A 19 y/o registered Polish Arabian Mare (Raffles line) needs a new home as her owner is elderly and cannot care for her.  Tamara is very sweet and was trained and ridden by her owner.  She was sweepstakes nominated in her youth. Tamara is about 14.3 hands and is grey.  She has not been ridden in the past several years, but she was ridden for most of her life until her owner became too old to ride. We are trying to help a woman who rescued a four year-old Azteca mare.  Maya was abandoned at a boarding facility, and the woman  who rescued Maya was able to contact the owner to get him to relinquish ownership to her.  The mare is 3/4 Andalusian, 1/4 Quarter Horse (her dam was an Azteca and the sire was Andalusian).
