Congratulations Interns!
This past week marked the end of our interns 6-week time at Hanaeleh. They worked on grooming, leading, longeing, saddling, etc. as well as learning about conformation, medical info, etc. We ended the internship with a small sensory clinic, with the horses and interns working with various different obstacles. Thank you Dave!
A huge thank you to Dave Seroski for making a tailor-made rope halter for Sapphire! She has such a petite nose that most rope halters are either too short (cob sized) or too wide (horse sized). Dave was kind enough to come out and make a custom-sized one just for her! In addition to the halters, he also makes hay bags (that fit an entire bale of hay- go figure!) and reflective gear for the horses.
