Baldwin Park (Los Angeles): Horses Needing Homes

We received word that there are two horses at the Baldwin Park animal shelter in Los Angeles who need homes. One is a gelding named Tonka, around 18 years, the other is an older mare, about 25 years old. The mare is visually impaired so she will definitely need someone to rescue her. We don't know any other information other than this, and that they desperately need a place to go. UPDATE: Haven and Cullen Get Their Feet Trimmed

Haven and Cullen have been at Hanaeleh for almost a week now, and they are settling in nicely. Haven is doing much better than Cullen, because she was originally in a little better shape- being a mare, she was probably a little pushy, and most likely pushed Cullen off of any food as they were both being systematically starved for a very long time. This past Monday Elizabeth travelled up to Sylmar to see both Cindy Lou and Noelle, our latest rescues, at their foster home.
