RIP Maggie Rose

It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of Maggie Rose this weekend. Maggie had been having health difficulties since July, and although her owner had worked with nutritionists and veterinarians, Maggie continued to go downhill. Her owner finally made the difficult decision to put Maggie down. Maggie was an Arabian cross who was already elderly when she came to us in July, 2012 from the Riverside Animal Shelter. We are pleased to announce that Ruby is now up for adoption! Ruby is a beautiful 16 year-old chestnut Thoroughbred mare who had been used as a broodmare before her previous owner lost her ranch.
