It's been a while since we've posted about our beautiful Ruby! She's turned 17 this year, and is up for adoption! Now that it's summertime and we have more time, we have been longeing Ruby everyday. She has so much energy! Megan loves to longe her, then spend about 15 minutes walking her out under saddle. Saying Goodbye to Our Sweet Aurora – RIP
It is with incredible sadness that we must announce the passing of our dear friend Aurora. She began to experience signs of colic early Saturday morning 7-14-18, when she went down in her stall and refused to get back up. We immediately called the vet and after several minutes she was finally able to get up on her own. Norco, CA: Two Arabian Horses Need Homes ASAP!!
We received a message this morning from one of our supporters. Her neighbor is giving her grief, and she needs help with two horses she took in out of the kindness of her heart. She writes: I’m desperate to find a home for two horses. I rescued the 16 year old from a woman dying from cancer and the other one is her baby. I am desperate. Update: Onyx Gets a Haircut
We have had Onyx for about two weeks now. We thought we would give a little update so everyone can keep tabs on our newest princess! WEEK ONE The first week we had her was a little rough: she came to Hanaeleh (a new place) and was put into the quarantine stall; was examined by the vet and had some of her vaccinations as well as her blood pulled; then the farrier came out; plus she was not thrilled with the new diet we had her on.
