Southern California: We were contacted by a woman who has a 22 y/o Thoroughbred gelding who she can’t afford to keep anymore. He was a show jumper, and came up with a slight lameness about a year and a half ago, so they put him out in a pasture to heal.
He is moving out sound now, but hasn’t been ridden at all during the last 18 months. The owner isn’t looking to sell him, but is looking for a good home for him. He can still be ridden and even jumped over small jumps. She said he probably needs an intermediate rider just because he hasn’t been ridden in a while.
He is a chestnut, about 16 hands, and currently is barefoot. She said he is good with her kids and is very sweet.
If you are interested in this lovely gelding, please fill out our horse inquiry form and we will forward all inquires onto the owner!
