A woman in Somis, CA reached out to us- two weeks ago she found this Quarter horse mare just wandering around her neighborhood. She has tried to find the owners but has come to the conclusion that the horse was abandoned. She would like to find this horse a safe home and would rather not send her to the shelter.
Pictures are below. She appears to be a mature Quarter horse mare. We reached out to our network of rescues, but only one was willing to take her, and only if she was rideable, which we don’t know due to the fact that she was abandoned. The woman who found her was trying to do the right thing, but now we need to help this sweet girl find a home.
