Hanaeleh was invited to present at a local Girl Scout Jamboree in Irvine this month. The girls learned about feed, tack, parts of the horse and horse behavior. We also taught them how to approach a horse and the girls were able to pet them as well.
Our two ambassadors were Savannah and Tamahome, who enjoyed their time with the girls, getting treats and attention (they also enjoyed eating the grass!). They conducted themselves well, and were patient and kind to the girls who were a little hesitant about petting a horse for the first time.
We are very proud of both Tamahome and Savannah, and we definitely thank the girl scouts for inviting us out to their jamboree! We hope that we helped to kindle an interest in horses in many of the girls.
