Elliot is a 27 year-old Thoroughbred gelding who needs a home. He is rideable and goes out on trail several times per week. His owner is unable to care for him due to medical reasons.
Elliot is a very personable horse and gets along with his stablemates- he is currently boarded in San Juan Capistrano. He has been ridden both western and English, and has been ridden out on trail for the past eight years. He does enjoy being the lead horse when in a group. Elliot needs an intermediate or an advanced rider, although he is very good on the ground and has been around children.
Elliot has front shoes and is a relatively easy-keeper. He eats alfalfa (he likes to dunk his hay) and gets a scoop of rice bran once per day.
