Two off-track Standardbreds need home – please see description and contact info below (this is a courtesy posting- Hanaeleh does not have these horses!).
Auction Horses Rescue was able to save two Off The Track Standardbreds from auction last Saturday night (1/18/14). They are currently in Riverside in foster care until new homes are found. Both appear sound and are in good flesh/condition, which is unusual in itself for the auction horses I’ve seen lately!
The Standardbreds from the Cowtown Auction have been delivered safely to their foster home in Riverside, CA, and have been identified”
~Hip 12, the 16.2hh bay gelding is “Flop Turn River,” a 2007 Cal-bred pacer by Hi-Ho Silverheaels and out of Princess Liz *(by Broadway Express).
~Hip 11, the 15.3hh bay mare is “Pay or Stay” a 2007 British Columbia-bred pacer by Power of Art and out of Schwing (by No Nukes.)
Both ended up at auction together, Saturday night. We are unsure if they raced or why or how they ended up at auction. If anyone can piece together their history, please email Auctionhorsesrescue@gmail.com.
