Trying to save this ancient TB from a sad ending to his long life. He is advertised on Craigslist for $150 as a riding horse. I went to see him looking for a horse for my neighbor boy and seeing him and thinking someone might buy him and ride/mistreat him breaks my heart. He has a 4 digit numerical tattoo which means he is over 25, is bony, has rainrot, feet long, living in a pen full of goat and sheep feces, on an incline with nowhere flat to rest, sharp metal bed frames and corrugated roofing panels underfoot, scared and bumpy legs, just plain pitiful . I already have 2 rescues so can’t afford another although I have room if he was sponsored. Any ideas for saving him? I have pictures.
