Bella is a 12 year-old Appendix (Quarter horse/Thoroughbred cross) chestnut mare. She is healthy and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations/teeth/farrier care. When the owner originally rescued Bella, she had very bad hooves, and was lame from poor shoeing. With corrective showing, including egg bar shoes, she is sound and is doing well.
Bella has done some Mexican drill team work and parades. She needs an intermediate/advanced beginner rider. She can get barn sour, but does not get jumpy, buck or rear.
Bella’s owner helps to rescue and rehabilitate horses in need, and then find them homes. She wants to ensure that Bella has a loving home that will continue her corrective shoeing to keep her sound and healthy.
Bella is not at Hanaeleh. For more information about Bella, please contact Dane: danedeweese@gmail.com
