Lexie is a Quarter horse mare we posted in December. She was going to be sent to the auction, and most likely end up with a killer buyer. A person offered to take Lexie for her lesson program, but her vet said that Lexie would not be able to perform the work required for her program. Lexie was a trained show horse, and did reining and barrel racing in her younger days.
Lexie is very sweet and really likes kids. She is on the smaller size (about 14 hands), but can carry about 150 pounds. She would be great as a backyard horse for grandkids, or for a person who just wants to walk around on the trail. She can do walk/trot without a problem.
Lexie has no adoption fee; we are just trying to find her a good home. Hanaeleh would retain first right-of-refusal; we want to make sure she is safe!
