We received word that Azor has found a new home. Thank you to everyone who helped to share his post!
We were contacted by the owner of an 18 year-old Warmblood named Azor. Azor has been a show jumper for most of his life, but he has had some lameness issues on and off, and his owner no longer thinks it is good for him to continue to jump competitively. He can still be ridden, but as he is sometimes off at the trot, she is looking for a potential home where he might be a companion horse. She said that he is good out on trail, but does need an intermediate rider.
Azor’s owner wants to make sure that he is safe for the rest of his life, so she is open to options about his ownership- she is very clear that he can come back to her at any time, no matter what. Her hope is that someone is looking for a companion or light riding horse, and he will find a place that is more appropriate to his needs rather than a show barn.
Azor is NOT at Hanaeleh.
