We were contacted by a family in Menifee who has an approximately 16 year old Spanish Norman (Andalusian/Percheron cross) gelding named Adonis that they need to rehome. The owner has had several health issues and has not been able to ride for a few years, and the family is moving back east. They would like to find him a good, safe home.
Adonis is gray and about 17 hands. The owner said he has always been sound and healthy. He requires an experienced rider as he wants to go-go-go and will ignore a timid rider. He is very sweet on the ground but he moves out pretty big. The owner says he doesn’t buck- he just moves out very big. He was being trained in dressage before the owner had health issues, but he apparently does like to jump as she said he jumped out of a paddock once!
