Hanaeleh helps to network horses who need homes free of charge. These horses are offered free to a good home, but an adoption agreement and contract are often suggested. Hanaeleh does not know anything beyond what is listed in the post- please contact the owner directly.
“Sole Provider” is a 21 year-old chestnut gelding, approximately 15.3 hands. He is a registered Thoroughbred with the Jockey Club, and is a Damascus grandson (Damascus was Horse of the Year in 1967-68). Provider’s sire was Damascus Prince.
Provider’s owner has had him for the past 15 years, but she is no longer able to care for him financially and needs to find him a good home. Provider has been trained in hunt seat and trail. He is ridden approximately 3-4 days per week, and is sound. He is healthy and has front shoes. Provider currently is using a soft snaffle or D-ring bit. Provider does well on the flat; in the past he has jumped, but he has been worked on the flat or on trail for the past several years. His owner would like to find him a home before the end of the month if possible.
