Last week we posted about Marty, a 25 y/o Quarter horse gelding who was dumped in an almond grove (you can see his post here). He was starving, and ate almonds to stay alive before a kind woman saw him and rescued him. She has been trying to find someone who will take him, but it is obvious he needs a lot of veterinary care to get healthy, and no one wants to take on that responsibility.
We have a stall available and can take Marty, but we need to find a way to get him from Keene, CA to Trabuco Canyon, CA. We have contacted a few haulers we usually use, but they are either busy or out of the area right now, so we are asking our supporters if they know of anyone who can help get Marty down to Hanaeleh.
If you know of anyone who can help, please contact Elizabeth: elizabeth@hanaeleh.org or by phone: (949) 842-7408. Thank you!
