Heal Fast Therapy donated several patches to Hanaeleh to use on some of horses with more painful issues. We have used it on both Ulysses and Maggie, both with long-term lameness issues which have not responded to other treatment.
In addition to having several bowed tendons and the inability to stand on three feet because of his neurological issues, he started to develop some major swelling on his left knee. Ulysses needs to move around for his feet to self-trim, so when he was unable to move around, we were concerned that we would have to put him down. We started putting the Heal Fast patch on his knee, however, and we not only noticed that the swelling came down (and stayed down), but that much of his pain was gone- he started running around in the arena again after only two sessions with the patch!
