Hanaeleh has been at our current facility for over 13 years now, and we have spent a lot of money into making the property work for us and the horses. We have put a lot of money into the property, putting in solar panels, lights, water pipes, automatic waterers for all horses, sheds, and pipe corrals and shelters for all of the horses. Although we have a lot invested in the property, the owner is not interested in selling it, so purchasing it is not an option.
While we have enjoyed our time at our current facility, we are looking to find a permanent home in Orange County. We have another year on our lease, so it is not as if the horses are in danger of being homeless, but we would like to find a place that we can call our own.
We are looking for either a house with approximately 2+ acres of land, or land that can be developed. We thought we had a lovely option available to us, but that did not pan out. So we are asking if anyone has a potential property that we can look at purchasing in Orange County or Riverside (we would like to remain in Orange County if possible, but if an amazing property turned up in Riverside, we would love to know about it!). We understand that housing prices are pretty outrageous right now, but we feel that we at least have to start looking.
Do you know of anyone who has a place that might work for us? Please let us know: elizabeth@hanaeleh.org
We are hopeful that we will soon find a permanent place so we can continue to help the horses!
