Today was our 3rd Annual Hanaeleh Halloween! We had a great time dressing the horses up in silly costumes and they didn’t seem to mind too much!
A big thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to work and who dressed up the horses! Special thanks to our judges and to our friends and families who came out to laugh at us!
We also discovered that there is a large amount of pent-rage in a few of our volunteers. Luckily we had a piñata to beat up so it was quickly dealt with! Just for edification, a broken rake pole works very well as a piñata-beater.
It took some encouraging, but we did get a chance to play horseshoes, too. Mike was our undisputed winner! Maybe next year we can look up the rules….
More pictures will be posted on this and on the horses’ individual blogs. We hope everyone had a great time!
