Savannah Update!
This weekend we went out to see how Savannah is doing- exceptionally well as it turns out! Mike has been meticulous in his care of Savannah, and we don't know when she has looked this good! Maggie 22-year-old Arabian Mare Rescued August 2012 Adopted June 2013 Maggie is a 22 year-old Arabian mare who was abandoned and left to starve to death in a riverbed in Riverside county. Rescued October 15, 2010 Adopted October 24, 2010 Adopted April 1, 2012 Gus’ owner contacted Hanaeleh and told us that if we did not come and take Gus, then he would be forced to sell him to a killer buyer. We discovered that Gus was lame, and when the vet refused to put him down, the owner had taken him out on trail and tried to make his injury worse so the vet would euthanize him.
