Austin is continuing to do well in Hanaeleh's care. It has only been three weeks, but we are already seeing him gain weight and his coat is looking so much better! Last week he got a nice fungal bath to get rid of some of the fungus that is across his back and legs. We think we were able to kill much of the fungus across his back, but his legs are a more severe case, and will require daily medication. Hanaeleh Horses: Yearly Vaccinations
Yesterday our horses got their second set of vaccinations. All of Hanaeleh's horses are vaccinated yearly with strangles, West Nile (unless they have an allergic reaction), and a 4-way shot, which includes both Eastern and Western encephalomyelitis, tetanus, rabies and flu-rhino. Last week our horses received their West Nile and strangles vaccines. Thank you to Santa Margarita High School Equestrian Team
We sending out an enormous thank you to the Santa Margarita Equestrian Team for raising $1,550 for Hanaeleh this past school year! These wonderful people spent many of their weekends at various horse shows, helping to spread the word about Hanaeleh and equine advocacy.
