We have been applying for a number of grants that would allow us to expand our programs and rescue more horses. These grants typically require either a full certified audit or review of the taxes. Venus is a very sweet 22 year-old Rocky Mountain Horse mare. She was purchased in an auction by Hi Caliber last year and put into one of their paddocks. Besides being thin, there were no other major health issues, as noted by their veterinarian and intake pictures, and a few months later she was fostered by a wonderful woman to see if she could be trained to ride.
