UPDATE: We received word on Monday afternoon that Poppy is safe! We actually ended up with three people who offered to help! This is after so many other groups that were called just said, "Sorry, full." Hats off to the Hanaeleh community! You guys are amazing! We were contacted last week about a horse who needs a home. Remi is a 7 y/o Quarter horse who has been diagnosed with a bone chip and contusion in one of his legs. He needs several months, up to a year, before he will be sound and rideable again. His owner does not have the ability to care for him during that time. We were contacted by a woman who is trying to help a horse at her barn. The owner, an elderly woman, passed away, and no one wanted her horse. A woman at the barn offered to help find him a home. Jackson is a 20 y/o bay Arabian gelding. He is rideable, and was being ridden by his owner who was 70 years old, before she passed away. He is very sweet and loves attention.
