UPDATE August 1, 2024: The owner contacted us and let us know that Willy has found a new home! Thank you to everyone who helped to share his post! We were contacted by a woman who is unable to keep her 17 y/o Thoroughbred gelding. He was raced until he was nine years old, and then retired. Since then he has been trained as a pleasure horse, and the owner thinks that he would be good for an intermediate or advanced rider and handler. Andromeda is a National Show Horse (Arabian and Saddlebred cross) who we rescued from a horse trader in November 2022. You can read about her rescue here. RIP Rylee

Rylee came to Hanaeleh in January 2023. Her previous owner had purchased her from an auction in Texas, and discovered that Rylee had DSLD, which is a painful stretching of the tendons in her leg, which meant that she could not be ridden without pain.
