UPDATE: Garnet (October, 2021)

Garnet has been out of the hospital for a little over a week, and we had Dr. Fertig come out to determine what our next steps should be. She said that Garnet's wounds look great, and to continue to clean them up as we have been doing. She said that Garnet can have treats now, too, so that has made Garnet a MUCH happier horse! Sierra came to Hanaeleh in August 2021. Those who have followed her story may remember that she was purported to be trained under saddle, but was just a little spooky out on trail.
