We Have New Water Tanks!

A few weeks ago we shared that our water main had broken, leaving us without water for the entire day that Sunday, and most of the following Monday. Of course, it happened to be in the high 90s both days. We knew that we had to figure out a way to keep the horses hydrated. Our solution was to buy every single one-gallon and 2.5 gallon jug we could find at the local grocery stores- we ended up with about 30 of each. UPDATE: We were contacted by Ruby's owner- she was able to find a safe place for her horse. Thank you to everyone who helped share her post! We were contacted by a woman who has been caring for a 16 year-old Quarter horse mare named Ruby. Ruby is very sweet, not spooky, and is great with kids, animals and other horses- her owner says that she is not aggressive at all and is very low on the pecking order. SAFE! Phoenix, AZ: Two Trail Horses Need Homes ASAP!

UPDATE: Hanaeleh was able to place these two horses in a therapeutic riding center nearby! They will be working in their veteran therapy program. We received a call about two horses who need homes in the next few weeks because their owners are moving and have been dealing with medical issues. They have called all of the rescues in Arizona but they have said that they are full. They want their horses to go to a good home, which is why they reached out to us.
