We received word that Eragon has found a new home! Thank you to everyone who helped to share his post! Hanaeleh received a call from a young woman who is trying to find a home for her horse, as she can no longer afford him. Welcome Andromeda, Hanaeleh’s Latest Rescue
"Andromeda is in Danger" After we lost Sable in September, we were approached by a friend who works with Auction Horses Rescue (AHR), which rescues horses not only from the auctions, but also directly from the traders who ship horses to states like Washington and Arizona for the purpose of slaughter. Hanaeleh Gets a New Arena Sprinkler!
This week we purchased a new sprinkler for the arena! This sprinkler will help to keep the dust down and will also help improve the footing in the arena. The horses had mixed reactions to the sprinklers- some of them found the moving water scary, some of them just avoided the water altogether, and some of them used the sprinkler as a way to cool down!
