We love our little Yamaha Rhino ATV. It helps us carry shavings, hay, hay pellets, and the horses' daily grain. We desperately need it serviced, and it needs new brakes! We had a mobile mechanic who had been coming out to the ranch to repair it, but he moved, and we haven't found anyone local who can help us. Rescued! Two Weanlings and a Mule!
We are so pleased to be able to have a happy ending to the post we put up on Monday about three babies who were at a feedlot on the border. The Backstory Hanaeleh's president Elizabeth happened to be scrolling through Facebook when she saw the post by Auction Horses Rescue. They were trying to network weanlings and yearling horses that had been rounded up from the Navajo reservation. UPDATE: We Did It! SAFE! 3 Baby Foals Due to Be Shipped to Slaughter!
UPDATE 4/17/23: We were able to save the babies! One of our previous board members and supporters has offered to quarantine them for 30 days while we get them vetted and continue to network for new homes for them. The black colt was saved separately, so we only had to take the bay filly and the chestnut colt.
