We are pleased to announce that Hanaeleh was recently rewarded $2,000 from the Employees Community Fund of Boeing California. We are very honored to be able to use this money to help pay for the veterinary costs and feed of horses who are in abusive environments or who are in danger of being sent to slaughter or euthanized. Nick’s Adventure – Horsie Update 8-28-11
In lieu of a horsie update this week, I am going to tell you a little about our adventure in getting Nick up to his new home. :) Lori and left a little late (my excuse is that my alarm clock didn't go off. Special Horsie Update

This poor guy was left, starving and covered in flies, by animal control. Instead of seizing him, they called us to try to find him a home. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We had a great time wishing Molly farewell this Saturday- we wish her the best of luck in college in Montana (and we will definitely call her up in December when it's about 72 degrees and ask her about the wind chill factor there).
