Happy Hanaeleh Anniversary May 29, 1999
13 years ago today, I purchased a bay Arabian, sight unseen, from a feedlot in Chino. It was a Wednesday when I said I would take her, on the 27th, although she was not released until Friday, the 29th. Cleo came home to me. The rest of the horses at the feedlot went to slaughter that day. That horse was Cleopatra, who was my dearest friend and companion.
