Beware the “52” Horses Post!

Hello all! There are e-mails and viral social media posts that have been around for a few years saying that "52 Thoroughbreds need homes or they will be sent to slaughter." This were valid posts in 2011, but the horses were all saved, and now this just gets randomly circulated every six months or so. Trabuco Canyon, CA: 19 y/o Registered Paint Mare Needs Home

Princess is a 19 year-old paint mare who needs a home. She is registered with the Paint Horse Association (picture of her papers are below). Registration #218,129. Foaled 4/4/94. Registered name: DB Princess Chance. She is great with kids, but appears to have some sort of injury that prevents her from being ridden. Hanaeleh is having its second Movie Night this Saturday, August 17th, at 8pm.  We will watch a fun movie (to be determined that night- bring your favorite and we might choose that one!) and I will bring my popcorn machine for yummy movie theatre popcorn! :)  We will have a "potluck" of sorts of sodas and goodies if you'd like to share!
