The Kentucky Derby came and went this weekend, with the deaths of seven horses and the indefinite suspension of one trainer (Saffie Joseph, Jr.) at Churchill Downs in one week. Action Needed: Help End the Pony Rides at Griffith Park (Los Angeles)

Hanaeleh was recently made aware of abusive practices that have been taking place at the pony rides at Griffith Park. There are videos of older, arthritic ponies who are clearly in pain being made to carry children around a track.
