Adopted April 24, 2010
Hanaeleh was contacted by a horse rescue in Hollywood when they needed to find a place for an emaciated Arabian cross who was abandoned in a backyard where the owner left him to starve to death. We took Caspian in, and soon found that he had been trained to rear on command, but was otherwise a nice boy. He was a favorite of our volunteers, and even had a mother and daughter who loved him very much. He quickly found a home in San Diego, however, but eventually the owner decided she wanted a different breed of horse, so he came back to us. The mother and daughter decided that it was kismet, and immediately adopted Caspian! He lives up in Long Beach and they love to ride him around both on trail and in the arena!
