Hanaeleh helps to network horses who need homes, free of charge. These horses are offered free to a good home, but an adoption agreement and contract are often suggested. Hanaeleh is not responsible for any of the information provided and does not know anything beyond what is listed in the post- please contact the owner directly.
We were contacted last week by a woman who is looking to rehome her 10 year-old registered Quarter horse gelding. Whiskey (Registered name: Whiskey Coke) is a beautiful black gelding, standing at 15.3 hands. He unfortunately has EPM and cannot be ridden, but is otherwise in excellent health. The EPM does not affect his movement at all.
Whiskey had been used for trail and sorting, but now his owner is looking to find him another “job” since he cannot be ridden. He is quiet and has excellent ground manners and loves to be around people and other horses, as well as other animals. Whiskey’s owner is hoping to put him into some program where he can work with children or other groups as a therapy or companion horse.
Whiskey is NOT at Hanaeleh; he is currently at a barn in Brea, CA. If you know of a program that might work for this lovely boy, please forward this post to them or contact the owner directly: Jeri (714) 747-4082.
