Cindy Lou is a 22 year-old Paint mare who came to Hanaeleh in December of 2019. Although we have determined that Cindy Lou would not be a good candidate as a riding horse, she would be an excellent companion horse for someone who needs a beautiful paint mare. RIP Bonnie (Haven)

We are very saddened to announce that we have had to euthanize Bonnie (She was originally named Haven, but the volunteers at her foster home had begun calling her "Bonnie" and her friend "Clyde"). She seemed fine in the morning when she was fed, but later that day one of the volunteers realized there was something "off" with her in the arena. This past week we moved some horses around- we took Hershey up to Natalie, one of our fosters, who has been caring for Cindy Lou and Noelle for the past six months- and brought Cindy Lou down to Hanaeleh. This is temporary- our hope is that we will find Cindy Lou a lovely new home and we will be able to bring Hershey back to Hanaeleh.
