This week we purchased a new sprinkler for the arena! This sprinkler will help to keep the dust down and will also help improve the footing in the arena. The horses had mixed reactions to the sprinklers- some of them found the moving water scary, some of them just avoided the water altogether, and some of them used the sprinkler as a way to cool down! Wickenburg, AZ: 2 Thoroughbreds Need Homes ASAP
We were contacted by a woman who is looking for homes for two Thoroughbred geldings whose owner has passed away. The woman has cared for them for the past several months, but she is unable to continue to support them financially. RIP Sable
We are very sad to report that earlier this week we had to make the very difficult decision to help Sable over the Rainbow Bridge. Losing Sable has left us all heartbroken. Sable came to Hanaeleh at the end of March 2022; we rescued her and Tilly from a situation where they were not cared for appropriately. Hanaeleh was contacted by a woman who is looking for homes for her two Thoroughbred mares. These horses are NOT at Hanaeleh.
