UPDATE: We were contacted by Ruby's owner- she was able to find a safe place for her horse. Thank you to everyone who helped share her post! We were contacted by a woman who has been caring for a 16 year-old Quarter horse mare named Ruby. SAFE! Phoenix, AZ: Two Trail Horses Need Homes ASAP!
UPDATE: Hanaeleh was able to place these two horses in a therapeutic riding center nearby! They will be working in their veteran therapy program. We received a call about two horses who need homes in the next few weeks because their owners are moving and have been dealing with medical issues. They have called all of the rescues in Arizona but they have said that they are full. They want their horses to go to a good home, which is why they reached out to us. People were dodging him with their cars and throwing trash at him. He had barbed wire around his neck and he was 600 lbs underweight. A kind citizen got him into their yard.
