Tillie is an 18 year-old chestnut Quarter horse mare (we know- ANOTHER chestnut mare!). She is very sweet but very opinionated (as all good chestnut mares are), and will let us know what she thinks about any given situation. This sweet girl came to Hanaeleh because her owner is dealing with a number of medical issues and was no longer able to care for her horse. Jesse's Life with Hanaeleh Jesse is a 20 year-old Quarter horse gelding. He was one of our first rescues, and due to no fault of his own, his owners no longer felt they could care for him. Hanaeleh will always take our horses back, no matter how much time has passed or for any reason, because our goal is to make sure our horses are always safe.
