Delilah is an 8 year-old Thoroughbred mare who is looking for a home! She was abandoned at a neighbor's stable after suffering with a nail embedded in her hoof for a period of time. She was emaciated and in pain when we took her in; she has gained about 400 pounds and looks great! We have had a few volunteers who have spent many hours working with her on sensory items, and we have been working with her under saddle. Ulysses Eating His Grain

Ulysses is one of our rescues from the Riverside Animal Shelter.  He is a very beautiful horse who suffered an intense amount of abuse at the hands of humans; when we picked him up, he had scars from his head to his tail.  His tendons were so damaged that it looks like they have been bowed multiple times.  There are scars from rope burns on his muzzle and legs.  Then the humans who had done this to him, abandoned him in a riverbed to starve to death.
