"Boss" is a 16 year old bay Peruvian Paso gelding who needs a home as soon as possible. His owner is moving and doesn't have the financial means to keep him. She rescued him from a neglect situation for her daughter, but her daughter is afraid of him because he is very shy. Neither the mother nor the daughter can give him the time he needs. Need Positive Thoughts for Apollo!
As some of you may know, Apollo, who was adopted by Katie and Stephen a few years ago, colicced Saturday morning. It looked like he was doing well, but he took a turn for the worse on Saturday. The vet came out and after working with him for about an hour, he was hopeful that he would get well, and Apollo's owners stayed with him all night. UPDATE: Delilah Has Found Her Forever Home!
It's a happy day at Hanaeleh: Delilah has found someone special to adopt her! Michaela is a very sweet woman who was looking for her first horse, and fell in love with Delilah - and we can say that Delilah really seems to love her as well! Delilah will be going up to Topanga Canyon, where Niko currently lives (one of our previous adoptions), and will be ridden both in the arena and on trail. Hanaeleh Halloween- Saturday, October 25th 11am-1pm
It's that spooky time of year again - that time when we dress horses up in silly outfits and parade them around the arena! That's right- it's Hanaeleh Halloween! Just as in years past, Hanaeleh Halloween will be held from 11am-1pm at Hanaeleh. This year we will have it on Saturday, October 25th.
