Introducing: Austin, Our Latest Rescue
Hanaeleh is a small rescue, and as a 100% volunteer rescue with a minimal budget, we do our best to help horses in our area as well as those across Southern California. We work to ensure that our neighborhood horses are safe and in good condition, mostly by being available to help those who are finding homes for their horses. Doing Just What We Can: Artist Paints Hanaeleh Horses for Charity
About a month ago we contacted Tennessee artist, Samantha Sherry, about partnering with us and creating some art inspired by Hanaeleh's rescued horses. Last year we really enjoyed her "100 Horses in 100 Days Challenge" and loved that horses were a regular subject in her art. Up for Adoption: Titan
We are pleased to announce that Titan is now up for adoption! Titan is a 15 year-old Hanoverian/Irish Sport Horse Warmblood. He came to Hanaeleh because both of his hind suspensories had been torn and his owner did not want to rehab him. It's been almost a year, but he is now cleared for trotting and turn-out, and we have been riding him without issues. Titan is a BIG boy- he's 17 hands and WIDE.
