Baron is a registered Tennessee Walking Horse who was given to his owner when her horse passed away, but she was not physically able to handle him. He ended up staying in his stall, becoming more and more shy and apprehensive. His owner tried to have “trainers” work with him, but they only succeeded in making him more fearful. When Hanaeleh took him in, we could not touch him past his neck. After several months of patiently working with him, we were able to saddle, bridle and eventually ride Baron without a problem. We adopted him out as a trail horse, but he came back after a year when they could no longer care for him. He eventually found a wonderful home with a young lady named Chelsea, and they can be found riding the trails in O’Neil Park.
