Hanaeleh was contacted by the owner of an 11 year-old registered overo Paint Quarter horse mare who needs a home. Cesna was a barrel racer who is recovering from a bowed tendon on her right front. She will need another six to eight months before she will be completely healed, but otherwise she is excellent health. She is currently barefoot.
Cesna is very calm around different people, and likes children, but she would need an intermediate/advanced rider. She does not care for cattle, but is good around dogs and goats. She is a very social mare and enjoys being around people. She will probably never be able to compete as a barrel racer again, but she would be a great trail horse, pleasure horse or therapy horse. Her owners are looking to rehome her due to her injury. They are not asking for an adoption fee, but want to ensure that she goes to a good home.
