We are so very thankful for so many people who help our rescue. We are dependent upon the community to continue to care for our horses and continue our work with equine advocacy. We cannot do this work without our dedicated volunteers and the people and businesses who support us.
We have been dependent upon our face-to-face fundraisers as well as our three online fundraisers that we hold throughout the year to raise money for the horses. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold our face-to-face fundraisers because of the pandemic, so we have been concerned about our ability to continue to provide for our horses.
Thankfully, our neighbors have once again stepped up to help, and for this we are thankful. We would like to personally thank Lyzz at Canyon Feed and Tack, who arranged with her Purina representative, Mady Ruegsegger, to donate a pallet of Purina Senior Feed and six bags of hay extender to Hanaeleh. Each of these bags cost around $30, and we go through about four of these bags per week, so this was such an unexpected surprise. Lyzz went out of her way to help us, without us even asking, and we are so thankful for her support.
Please be sure to contact Canyon Feed and Tack if you are in the market for any animal feed or horse tack, and let them know you appreciate their helping Hanaeleh. We know we are always thankful for them, and so appreciative of their continued support.
