Gypsy

Gypsy is a 6 year old Mustang. She is about 14.2 hands, and is very sweet and willing, but needs an experienced individual to work with her. Gypsy has good feet and is very sure-footed. We have done extensive ground training with Gypsy, and she does very well longeing on and off the line. She is very respectful and is great while being led, too. She has been ridden both in the arena and on trail, but she would still be considered “green broke.”
She trailers well and doesn’t really seem to be spooky at all- just unsure of things if she’s in a new environment. She does a very good job of “assessing” a situation before she decides to act. Gypsy ties and is good for the farrier. She is a little unsure of the clippers, but is OK with them after a few minutes. Gypsy needs someone who is kind, but experienced as she does not respect “weak” individuals. She needs someone who is self-assured and who will make sure to keep to the rules but not be aggressive or unkind. She would also need someone who would help to finish out her training under saddle.
Gypsy is now happily a permanent resident of Hanaeleh!
